Goods Arriving without a Quaratine Permit

Effective from the 9th April the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has changed the manner in which they treat non-prohibited goods that arrive in Australia without a permit. Previously goods that arrived without a permit were allowed to remain in Australia under Customs control until the permit was granted. From the 9th April goods that arrive without a permit will be directed for export from Australian territory or required to be destroyed in an approved manner. For further details please click here.
